Chairperson of the Gender and Equality Committee
Zosia Schoennett

Zosia brings a wealth of experience from her time in LUNA. Over the years, she has served in RK, held a
position in the MUR presidium, and been an active member of JoL. One of Zosia’s lessons from her time in the union is her mastery of the dark arts known as ”holding efficient meetings”. She navigates this complex art with finesse, ensuring that discussions remain productive while fostering a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas. During her interview, the nomination committee was particularly struck by Zosia’s remarkable ability to tackle difficult scenarios. Her thoughtful approach to problem-solving and her capacity to engage with challenging topics reassured the committee of her readiness to take on the responsibilities of a spokesperson. With her blend of experience, interpersonal skills, and strategic thinking, Zosia is well-equipped to excel as spokesperson of JoL. The nomination committee therefore can confidently nominate her to the position.
Member of the Information Committee
Solveig Englund

Solveig Englund is a third-year physics student currently active in CRC. She wants to be part of the Information Committee in order to make sure that the science students are informed about what’s happening within the Union and its events. This would be via written communication, such as social media posts, but also by making sure that LUNA’s communication is more focused and not spread thin over all of its platforms. Solveig see the new Canvas and Hitract pages as great tools and possibilities in this.
These reasons are why the Nomination Committee have decided to nominate Solveig Englund for the position of member of the Information Committee.
Ellen Sahlberg
Ellen Sahlberg is a third-year physics student, wanting to become active in LUNA again after a short break. She is interested in graphical design, being proficient in Procreate and Photoshop, and wants to reintroduce the students to the beloved Zenit. Ellen is also structured and want to make sure that the deadlines are being met and the Committee’s internal communication is clear.
These reasons are why the Nomination Committee feel more than comfortable in nominating Ellen Sahlberg for the position of member of the Information Committee.
Tuna Ünsal
Tuna Ünsal is a 19-year-old studying his first year of physics and is very excited to become an active member of LUNA. He has a long list of experience relating to the student engagement, and especially relating to the Information Committee. Tuna has for example been the Marketing Team Lead in Volt Community, a science community that he was engaged in back in Turkey, which as a result of the marketing team’s work had members in over 30 countries. Tuna shows specific interest in the social media presence of LUNA and has many great ideas of both improvements and how to increase the engagement of LUNA members with our social media channels. Tuna has previous experience with Canva and Figma, and is happy to learn other techniques used by the Information Committee.
The Nomination Committee believes Tuna to be a great asset for the Information Committee, and that he will bring a new perspective to their work. This is why the Nomination Committee hereby nominate Tuna Ünsal for the position of member of the Information Committee.
Chairperson of the Mentor Committee
Alma Ragnarsson
Alma Ragnarsson is a second-year biology student, and after completing her first novisch period as an FU
member, she is ready to take on the position as Chairperson. Alma speaks about the novisch period enthusiastically, and understands the importance of creating a feeling of belonging for novisches. Additionally, she sees the more complicated aspects and provides nuanced reflections
on complicated scenarios that may arise during the year. Alma highlights the significance of healthy workloads within the Committee, and provides many great examples of how to build and maintain a fun, healthy and cooperative Committee whilst handling the workload that FU has. In relation to this, she shows that she understands the need for continuous communication and cooperation with the LUNA Board. Alma strives to uphold a welcoming, open and communicative FU, both internally and towards mentors, novisches, and other members of LUNA.
The Nomination Committee is confident that Alma Ragnarsson will be an excellent Chairperson och the
Mentor Committee for their next operational year, and thereby nominates her for the position.
Member of the Mentor Committee
Hugo Ageby
The year before Hugo started studying environmental science, he spent a year in the lands of LTH. The
novisch period he experienced there was neither inclusive nor welcoming. When he later came to LUNA, he expected the same thing. He was instead surprised, and instantly felt at home. Last year, he wanted to give it forward and worked the novisch period as a mentor. As a mentor, he was kind, outgoing and spread his positive vibes to both mentors and mentees. Hugo has not only been active as a mentor, he is also a member of the party committee and has previous experience in organizing events from his time in the MYS party committee. There, he has acted with the same professionalism as he did as a mentor. The Nomination Committee therefore believes that Hugo would do a great job in the Mentor Committee, and gladly nominates him to the position.
Vanshika Anand
Vanshika Anand is already a well-known active member of LUNA, who spreads good vibes all around her.
She studies her third year of the physics programme and is ready to take on a bigger duty as an FU member. She has seen the trouble with reaching out to exchange students within LUNA, and has many ideas on how to create a welcoming environment for both swedish and international students. She also has fun ideas on events where the different teams work together, hopefully creating friendships between councils. She talks highly about the work that mentors do, and the responsibilities they effortlessly take on, and wishes to be a pillar of support for them during the preparation and execution of the novisch period.
Vanshika is structured, pro-active and happy, which is why the Nomination Committee is happy to nominate her as member of the Mentor Committee.
Maite Berglund
Maite Berglund is a lively second year chemistry student whose favourite part about the novisch period is the friends you make from all different programs within LUNA. Maite has a positive view on the world around her which is reflected in the way she speaks about the work FU does. She has many fun ideas on how to solve or go around issues with the novisch period, such as the lab coats never arriving on time.
Maite can be described as a go-getter and she values communication and taking an active role in whatever she sets her mind on, and will bring that with her in the work with FU.
The Nomination Committee is happy to nominate Maite Berglund as a member of the Mentor Committee.
Andrea Delic
Andrea Delic is a physics student, and is currently active in GLuFS with the spreading of posters. Andrea wants to make the novisch period memorable and welcoming to all science students, by creating fun competitions in order to get the novisches to cooperate, and make them associate Lund University with more than just their studies. She also want to make LUNA’s novisch-period more noticeable and to engage more international and master students, by creating posters to be up throughout the period.
This, including Andrea’s care for students and can-do attitude, is why the Nomination Committee happily
nominate Andrea Delic for the position of member of the Mentor Committee.
Louise Hansson
Louise Hansson is a second year biology student, and has enjoyed the LUNA novisch period both as a novisch and as a mentor. She speaks highly of the novisch period and the effort FU puts in to make each novisch period great, and therefore wishes to be a part of FU. She shows kindness and openness and states that those qualities are the most important for an FU member to create a warm, welcoming and fun first few weeks of novisches’ student-lives. She talked about her experiences of the novisch period and highlighted the best parts but also parts with room for improvement, and proved that she could handle difficult situations during the novisch period when she was a mentor and has plans on how to prevent such situations in the future as FU. Louise values the cooperation within FU, and the structure needed to complete FU-tasks while still maintaining a sustainable workload. She showed her analytical qualities by the way she can reflect upon burdensome scenarios that might arise during the novisch period, and is able to cover many perspectives and aspects that may change her action if such a scenario were to happen.
The Nomination Committee is therefore fully confident in the fact that Louise will be a great asset to FU
when nominating her for the position as FU member.
Nea Johnsson
Nea Johnsson is a second-year student within the program of Medical Radiation Physics, and is currently
active in LUNA through the Party Committee. Nea has since the day she saw the cool FU generals wanted to be part of the Mentor Committee. She wants to bring a positive attitude to the Committee, as she sees it as an important factor for both the dynamic in a group and to make novisches feel welcome to a new city and education. Nea also thinks that communication and the concentration of information of the novisch-period in one place are key attributes to get novisches informed and involved in the Union’s welcome for the new students. The Nomination Committee, with the stated information, thereby see Nea as a great addition as a member of the Mentor Committee and are happy to nominate her for the position.
Victor Gacio Lindström
During Victor’s interview, the Nomination Committee was impressed by his thoughtfulness, professionalism, and his ability to articulate his ideas clearly. Victor has experience from MYS, where he has taken on multiple responsibilities, being actively involved in both the party committee and the education board, where he works creatively and proactively. Another noteworthy strength in Victor’s experience is his engagement with nations. At Lund Nation, he played an active role during their novisch period, where he gained valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities that can come up when planning a novish period. Overall, Victor’s diverse experiences and his proactive approach make him a strong candidate and the Nomination Committee therefore nominates him to the position.
Florian Schuster
Florian is not only knowledgeable and experienced but also deeply committed to fostering a good work
environment for the committee. The Nomination Committee was impressed by his ability to tackle scenarios, which showed his skill to connect with individuals, understand their unique challenges, and provide guidance. His approachable demeanor and willingness to share his expertise create an inclusive environment where everyone feels empowered to learn and thrive. Florian also has great experience from his time in the union, where he among other things has been a strong voice in RK. The Nomination Committee believe that Florian’s passion for mentorship, combined with his proven track record, will greatly enhance the Mentor Committee’s efforts in nurturing the next generation of novisches.
The Nomination Committee therefore is gladly nominating Florian to the Mentor Committee.
Lasse Ulbricht
Lasse brings a wealth of relevant experience and a genuine passion for welcoming new students. Currently in his second year studying physics and originally from Germany, Lasse has not only served as a mentor but also enjoyed the novisch period as a participant, giving him a unique perspective on both roles. Lasse understands the importance of fostering a positive environment where novisches can bond and feel comfortable, ensuring them a memorable experience. His commitment to maintaining a healthy balance during events and his ability to manage group dynamics make him an ideal candidate for this role. The Nomination Committee is therefore nominating him as a member of the Mentor Committee.
